For over 30 years, I enjoyed photographing race cars and drivers at Lime Rock Park. Among them was Paul Newman. When Paul raced an SCCA GT-1 race car his car number was also his age. The race day depicted in the Paul and Joanne photo was nothing short of spectacular. It rained all day, a particularly tough race as water pooled on the track. Paul won the race lapping all competitors but one.
